Evershed Products is a small business formed in 1998 to offer an environmentally friendly alternative to wooden outdoor furniture......our recycled plastic outdoor furniture or recycled polystyrene outdoor furniture!
With the increased demand globally to save trees and reduce landfill, we offer a range of recycled outdoor products created from the recycling of polystyrene, which has the appearance of wood but is the environmental alternative.
Our primary business was to fabricate outdoor furniture items from recycled plastic and polystyrene that we purchased from southern based suppliers. This arrangement changed in 2001 when we purchased the machinery to enable us to manufacture the recycled polystyrene profiles on site at Bishop Auckland. Now, in addition to making our own material, we also supply various profiles to businesses on a nationwide basis.
The recycled polystyrene products we produce have the following attributes, making them ideal for outdoor use:

Maintenance Free
Will not rot, crack or splinter
Requires no painting or preservatives
Impervious to fungal attack
Strong, durable and long lasting
The material is also available in any of the following colours as standard:

Green
We can however supply the material in most colours at an additional charge. Please ask for details.
