We are qualified SPA leaders based in Stourbridge the West Midlands. Whilst we are not close to any crags, we are in the middle of all the action. Love Rock, unlike many other climbing leaders prides itself in going to crags that others may not have even been to before.

We can take individuals on a one to one experience, a small team, a classroom of children and organise corporate events to suit. The climbing experience is endless.

If you are new to rock climbing or want to make the move from indoor climbing walls to the real thing we can coach you through how to move on rock and all the rope work you'll need to get yourselves out climbing on single and multi pitch crags. The ranges of venues we take you too are excellent so we can go to a different place each day with a progressive approach to the skills coaching.

For an introduction to rock climbing, starting to lead or advanced techniques a tailor made climbing course will take your climbing to where you want to be. Using some of Britain's finest rock climbing venues such as the Peak District, Clwyd and North Wales you will be able to climb some of the best routes in the country while learning the skills to become totally self-reliant. From your first steps your climbing skills, footwork and balance, will be coached and refined so that you climb smoothly and confidently.

Private Courses for groups or individuals are tailored to your exact requirements in terms of content, duration and dates. You will not be put with people you don’t know. The course will be what you want, when you want and for how long you want. The content is aimed at your exact experience level and the direction you want to go in after the course. For your tailor made course, be it personal climbing by the day on Wales classic rock, a two day - five day rock climbing instruction course, please use the table above for prices. A ratio of 1:2 is ideal for single-pitch climbing enabling any route to be tackled and lead climbing to be coached. Larger groups are mostly limited to single-pitch crags that will accommodate you all, but all aspects of climbing can still be covered including bouldering and gear placement. The prices are for the whole group, divide this by the number of people for the price per person, it’s that simple.
With our knowledge of all types of rock, we can even introduce you to the differences at different crags all within an hour of each site.

Family and Group climbing

This two day course is tailored to meet the needs of introducing families and groups to everything that is great about climbing outdoors. We will take you to a single pitch crag of an agreed location and introduce you all the techniques you will need to know about climbing traditional routes outdoor. We will go through kit, crag knowledge, top rope and bouldering. All you will need is suitable clothing for the day and packed lunch, all safety gear is provided.

Sport Climbing Outdoors

An introduction to outdoor sport climbing. Taking you to some of the finest bolted crags, to show you the techniques required to become a competent climber on single pitch sport routes. This course is ideally suited to the indoor sport climber who wishes to take their knowledge of climbing outdoors.

Moving Outdoors

This course is an ideal way of introducing yourself to outdoor climbing, if you are a competent climber indoors. This is a two day course which will demonstrate to you good anchor placement and belay techniques, and a knowledge of what makes the outside environment so different. We believe that by the end of the weekend you should be a competent second climber.

In this day and age the ability to take and explore risk and personal responsibility has been greatly diminished. At Love Rock we aim to give members of your team an experience where they re-discover the confidence of taking personal responsibility and the enthusiasm of working as a team.

At Love Rock we have a team of experienced Instructors and Coaches. Through tasks with an experienced Psychotherapist your group will explore their personal limitations. They will discover how to improve communication within teams and through self - awareness exercises discover how they impact on those they work with.

Love Rock is a team of innovators who have a passion for enabling others to discover and realise the potential within. Our instructors all have personal experience of being managers whether in the private, public or charity sector. We feel this gives our clients an advantage as we can Taylor courses to your personal business needs.

LOVE ROCK PACKAGE

Love Rock offers a two-day experience. The first day will comprise of classroom-based tasks. Participants will:

· Explore the barriers to successful communication.

· Through self – awareness exercises discover personal limitations
· Realise how personal and team dynamics affect outcomes.

The Second Day will comprise of:

Climbing

· Self and special awareness exercise.

· Understanding your fears

· Bouldering; low level

· Top rope climbing; High level

Or

Hill Walking

· Self and special awareness exercise.

· Understanding your fears

· Hill walk with the aim of reaching the summit and decending a hill or mountain

ALL PART OF THE SERVICE

We aim to help take away the hassle involved with both employing us and having your staff meet turn up.

We are fully ensured as instructors and send you a copy of the same closer to the time of the event.

We believe the best way of having all participants pay attention is by taking them away from the office. We can organise function room bookings local to your offices, or even at a local climbing wall, where we can give you a feel of climbing in anticipation for the following day.

Food and refreshments can be provided by us for both days with a menu to suit your dietary needs.

To ensure everyone meets at both days, on time a rearing to go, we can also organise coach transport to and from your offices.
