Parkes & Co Accountants Ltd was formed in February 2004, and is a continuation from Parkes & Co Accountants partnership.

Our client’s base includes chartered architects, surveyors, doctors, dentists, medical professional services, construction, retail, wholesale, and an extremely wide range of clientele.

Meet our team:

Stan Parkes
I am the founder of Parkes & Co. I’m actively with the practice as a shareholder and director, building the practice over the last 33 years to a 900 + clientele base, from recommendations alone.

Claire Parkes
I have been with the company since 1993 and I’m the managing director of the company and practice manager, working closely with members of the team, to ensure our clients receive a good level of service.

Mike Walters
I have been with Parkes & Co for over 12 years. I am a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, having qualified through ACCA in 2012, studying at Kaplan Financial Training. I cover a variety of aspects including accounts, VAT, PAYE & CIS.

April Cunningham
I have been in the accountancy field for over 30 years. After joining the team here at Parkes & Co, I am now head of the Payroll Department with a wealth of experience in all areas of PAYE.

Michelle Lynch
I am a member of ACCA and have worked in the accountancy profession for over 20 years, 12 of those at Roger M Darby Ltd, Kinver, until his retirement, joining the team in April 2014. I have experience in preparation of annual accounts dealing with all sized companies.

Liam Cooper
I joined Parkes & Co in February 2014 from Halesowen College, studying AAT Level 3 full time into an apprenticeship. Having successfully completed my AAT Level 3 in June, I have continued to study at Halesowen College and I’m partway through my AAT Level 4 Qualification.

Liam Powell
As an apprentice having already studied Level 1 and 2 AAT at LMPQ in Birmingham, I am currently working towards completing my AAT Level 3. In the future I am looking to complete AAT Level 4 and ACCA at BPP Professional Qualifications.
