Ravenscroft Developments was founded in 1991 by current Managing Director Shane Richards. Initially the business specialised in property maintenance, with the majority of work coming from major house builders. However, over the years the company has expanded its expertise into other areas of the construction industry, as it has sought to adapt to an ever changing market place. As a result of this expansion, Ravenscroft Developments now offer a wide range of construction services, including; consultation, conservation, restoration, insurance, modernisation, new build, refurbishment and landlord gas certification works.

Ravenscroft Developments is a local, family owned business, built upon family values. It places its customers at the heart of its success, and endeavours to fully understand the concerns and requirements of each. As its client base is divided between commercial and domestic customers, Ravenscroft Developments tailor its service to suit. Ravenscroft Developments fully understand that some of its customers may feel apprehensive about undertaking a construction project, a feeling which is entirely natural. As a result, Ravenscroft Developments will go to great lengths to ensure the customer is at ease, and address any issues on an individual basis.

Through continually meeting and exceeding the expectation of its customers, Ravenscroft Developments has built up on enviable commercial client base which includes; Cala Homes, Crest Nicholson Regneration, Kier Partnership Homes and Pennycuick Collins to name a few. In addition, Ravenscroft Developments have undertaken a significant number of private developments, extensions and refurbishments for clients who had little or no previous experience of the construction industry.
