Harestane Hydrotherapy Pool

General information

Our pool is at a constant one metre depth (waist height) enabling even those who are not the most confident swimmers to feel the many benefits of hydrotherapy. There is also a ramp with handrails allowing access to the pool without the requirement of cumbersome and undignified equipment.

Once in the water bathers will enjoy water temperatures of 34 - 35ºC which is similar to a warm bath. Even the air temperature and humidity levels in the pool area are controlled to ensure the optimum recommended hydrotherapy environment is maintained.

In case you just want to take it easy and unwind, there is a whirlpool jet spa with seating built into the pool. We even have a music system so that you can bring your favourite CD or iPod to listen to while you swim (or chill out).

For those of you wishing simply to watch the world go by we have created a great viewing & cafe area where customers and visitors are always welcome to grab a comfy seat and enjoy a coffee made from freshly ground beans.

We are available to hire for corporate bookings, family hire and group hire.

We also have swimming lessons on offer from Grieve Swim School, Swimming Lessons by Martina and the ever popular WaterBabies classes almost every day of the week (find out more at waterbabies.co.uk) and Aqua Aerobics classes also run 3 times a week.
