So, “Why would anyone want to join the Friends of Hillworth Park (FHP)?”

HERE’S WHY:

• The FHP are an independent group of local people who love the park and wish to enable a friendly environment within the park that is welcoming to all.

• The FHP will endeavour to engage with and fairly represent the views of all park users.

• The FHP are glad to hear your views on how you wish to use the park, and what events you would like to enjoy there.

• You don’t have to do anything to become a member of the FHP, a small annual subscription is all that is required: Individual Membership £5, Family Membership £8. (Concessions - £1 only for the over 60’s and youths age 15 and under)

• If you wish to be more active as a member, the FHP would welcome your involvement! Whether you simply wish to help in a “hands-on” way at events, or whether you would like to volunteer as a member of the committee of members that meets usually once a month.

• The FHP are people like you, without ulterior political and environmental motives
