The Bank

General information

The Bank is the trading name of Eyes Open CIC, a community interest company dedicated to bringing arts to the town of Eye and it's surrounding areas.

The Bank acts as a dynamic space for creativity, performance and inspiration for a wide range of arts including - fine art, sculpture, music, theatre and literature/literary arts.

During the day time, we run the centre as a cafe and exhibition space for the public. Various classes also run throughout the day.

We are currently exhibiting works by local artists and soon we will return to themed exhibitions.

We have a multi-use vault space which will be transformed into a studio space, but also is used as a digital projection space in the old Strongroom. This is available for public use. We will hold film screenings in the studio, often as part of our exhibits.

In addition to this, we have our upstairs treatment/meeting rooms, which can be hired at reasonable rates.

The cafe is open 4 days a week, with Coffee Blend (made exclusively for us - Thistledown Cottage Coffee ), a tasty tea selection and creamy hot chocolate. We also have available a range of gorgeous cakes and cookies donated by amazing members of the community. Gluten free, vegan, and dairy free options are available. Hot drinks can be made with dairy alternatives on request.

A warm welcome awaits beyond our doors, with inspiring artwork, a bright and airy main hall and many creative facilities. We look forward to seeing you!
