The Car Wash Advisory Service is an independent organisation that works with all companies and individuals in the UK with an interest in the vehicle washing industry.
Our aim via the WashMark is to ensure that all UK vehicle wash sites become wash compliant by 2018.
Wash compliant means that they comply with all UK and EU regulations for both commercial and environmental regulations such as being insured, having the correct drainage, paying business rates etc. but we are also committed to ensuing the safety and well-being of people who work on wash sites.
We are asking everyone who washes their car to tell their local car wash about CWAS and the WashMark. We are here to help but if we discover that a site is in place as a front for money laundering and modern slavery we will work to close them down.
