Lechlade is a small, vibrant market town on the river Thames in Gloucestershire at the southern edge of the Cotswolds. Its name derives from the river Leach which joins the Thames nearby. Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is within easy access to Swindon, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Burford and Oxford.
Lechlade is twinned with La Chapelle des Fougeretz, situated near to Rennes in Brittany.
