Good Quality Tents, Marquees and Gazebo’s

You might not believe it when you see our prices, but all of our tents marquees and gazebos are of really good quality. Strong sturdy poles, thick canvas and robust fixtures and fittings set our shelters apart from the low-cost alternatives you’ll find on internet auction sites.
Why buy a poor quality party tent, struggle to erect it and feel disappointed with the results, when you can hire one for less money? AND we do all the moving, lifting, pitching and dismantling for you.

We’ve never had an accident yet, but if something should go awry, Norfolk Marquee Hire is fully insured.

Flexible shape and size

As yet, we don’t offer circular or oval marquees but we can arrange our square and rectangular marquees in various different floor plans. Don’t worry, you won’t see the joins from either inside or outside of the tent.
Some customers opt for a rectangular marquee – perhaps with an extended porch to make a nice entranceway.
Other customers ask for “L” shaped tents where one part of the “L” is for formal seating and the other part forms a dance floor.

For corporate events or weddings, you may prefer two or more separate tents (eg one for the guests, one for the caterers). That’s easily arranged.

Maybe you’d prefer a gazebo or pergola? A simple canopy with open sides makes a great sunshade, protects against light rain showers. We highly recommend erecting a gazebo over a BBQ or hogroast (just in case the British weather lets you down). They’re also great for group picnics and make ideal organisers’ tents at charity events.

Perhaps you’d like a 3-sided structure with an open front? Many people prefer this for a bar or a buffet area because it allows more freedom of movement.

Not a fan of plain white tents? We also have some jaunty red and white striped marquees to offer you. These are great for childrens’ parties or themed events.

Decorate as you want

A marquee is something that can be personalised up to the hilt. Norfolk Marquee Hire can line your marquee with luxurious silky fabrics in either white, ivory or black fabric. If you need flooring, we can offer a range of carpets and/or a sprung wooden dance floor.
Why not let us take the hassle out of furnishing your venue. We have a range of tables and chairs available for hire and can even supply tablecloths and chair covers. When your event is over, we stack and pack the furniture and deal with all the laundry.
Interior design ideas for your marquee will pop up on our Facebook page from time to time but here are a few things to think about.

Colours: Do you have a colour palette for your event? Maybe you want to continue the theme used for bridesmaids’ dresses or groomsmens waistcoats? Perhaps you have corporate colours you’d like to use to enhance your brand? Why not incorporate your favourite hues in flower arrangements, table decorations, chair backs, screens, ribbons, balloons etc?

Fairy lights can really change the atmosphere of a marquee especially as the sun begins to set outside. If you need us to help you fix them to the “ceiling” just ask.

Greenery: Bring living plants and/or topiary into the marquee. If you’d like us to help you wind garlands of leaves and flowers around poles and across the ceiling, we’d be delighted to help.

Seating areas: You’re not restricted to chairs and tables. Create a relaxed party atmosphere with picnic blankets and big cushions in your favourite colours.
