General information

Established in 1989 Jaro Design has always been a family affair.
It has been owned and run by Janet Cathro since it opened with the help of her Father and Mother when thet were alive. Now she works side by side with her eldest dauhter Lynzi not forgetting baby Zak who will always have a smile to welcome you when he is in the Studio.
This Family business has put together colour schemes for some prestigious developements over the years. From the GPO building in Glasgow's busy city centre apartments to 5 star luxury lets in Bamburgh and down at Cameron House Lodges where we worked with a team of contractors each doing their bit to furnish some of the Lodges. Private clients have taken her up to the Scottish Highlands and Islands down to Asscot in London and as far afield as Spain and Portugal.
Soft Furnishing Specialist definetly was where Janet's first passion lay as in the early days everything was made personally by her. She prides herself by the fact she can turn her hands to most anything that can be made on a sewing machine right throught to making up the wooden frames for pelmets and upholstering them then drilling and installing the tracking systems and pelmets herself. Gaining knowledge at the coal face stands this team well. Now she has a trusted team working hand in hand with her to create and install beautiful window dressings upholstered beds as well as her suppliers that create fabulous furniture and lighting to allow her to complete full house transformations.
