Burrows Bookshop specialises in children's books and products. Burrows' staff have between them more than 70 years combined experience of children's books, and they believe that there is a book out there for every child, no matter what their age, interests or abilities.
The business boasts a loyal clientele, and takes pride in offering excellent customer service in all aspects of its work, and is truly a much-loved hub at the heart of Ely's community.
Burrows has a children's book club called The Word Perfect Book Club, which aims to encourage reading and a love of books, and offers numerous benefits to its members, and their parents.
The shop hosts numerous events througout the year, ranging from regular Saturday Storytime sessions, to author and character visits.
The shop also arranges and runs Word Perfect Parties - book or character themed parties for young children, complete with themed entertainment, storytelling, craft and excellent goody bags that always contain a book for children to take away and read after the party.
Burrows also has the most comprehensive Local History section in the area, featuring books and DVD's about the local area and titles by local authors.
