What is tsiMORAY all about?
Moray’s Third Sector* Interface, provides support, information and services to individual volunteers, social enterprises as well as voluntary and community groups in Moray.

Volunteering
tsiMORAY offer one to one support, advice, guidance and information on volunteer opportunities and volunteering within Moray.
If you are interested in volunteering, our Volunteering & Employability Development Officer will meet with you to discuss what kind of volunteering opportunities you’d be interested in giving your time to. They will match your interests and skills with a volunteering placement within Moray.
tsiMORAY staff are able to support you to get ready to volunteer, until you feel you have the confidence and the know-how to volunteer within an organisation.
Volunteers are also able to contact the tsiMORAY office directly by calling 01343 541713, or by emailing info@tsimoray.org.uk. tsiMORAY also provide a monthly hotlist of volunteering opportunities, which is available by request, in our office or online, on our website.

Group Support
tsiMORAY offer free, impartial advice, information and support to help you start and maintain your voluntary/ community group. This can include information and guidance on going through the legal procedures of registering your group as a charity, providing template policies and procedures for the management of your organisation, as well as general information about the day to day running of your group.
We also offer training events and seminars. tsiMORAY hold, or have held in the past, minute taking courses, governance training courses, and funding information seminars. These events are advertised on our website, Facebook page, shop window, and are also included in our e-bulletins.
tsiMORAY provide funding news, and funding signposting, as well as support, information and general advice in this area. tsiMORAY promote funding opportunities online, as well as in our e-bulletin, and are able to provide support and guidance to organisations who are interested in applying for funding, whether it be at a local or national level.
tsiMORAY provide office services and equipment hire, such as printing and photocopying, including leaflets & business cards, word processing, as well as laminating & scanning. We hire out items such as laptops and projector, display boards and collecting cans and buckets. We also offer a window display facility. These services are for tsiMORAY member organisations.

Social Enterprises
tsiMORAY offer support, information and advice about social enterprises.
tsiMORAY work to increase the understanding of the work of social enterprises within Moray, encourage an increase in trading activity and business development, as well as supporting social enterprises to become more sustainable in relation to their triple bottom line – socially, economically and environmentally.
We also work to build the capacity and confidence of our members as individuals and as social entrepreneurs, as well as work locally and nationally to foster a culture of mutual support and co-operation.
tsiMORAY do this by providing low cost training, workshops and events tailored to the needs of our members, an annual social enterprise gathering to raise awareness and promote our members, and business coaching and facilitation for start-up, growth and development. tsiMORAY also provide, business and management support and advice, local representation on Community Planning Partnership and Moray Economic Partnership delivery team, as well as, national Representation at social enterprise events.

*What is the Third Sector?
According to Scottish Government the Third Sector is, ‘a term for organisations that provide social or environmental benefit and which do not distribute profits. The term covers voluntary and community organisations, volunteering bodies, charities, social enterprises as well as some co-operatives and mutuals. ‘Third Sector’ is sometimes used interchangeably with the term ‘voluntary sector’.’
