My name is Martin Briggs (Member - Association of Professional Dog Trainers) and I own and run Positive Plus Dog Training. We provide the very best in basic/advanced obedience training as well as troubleshooting and reshaping problem behaviours, all within a friendly & relaxed environment.

Positive Plus is based on knowledge, patience & respect and as such, we use the latest reward based training methods along side a unique, holistic plan that will address and improve the relationship and bond you have with your dog. We will also teach you how to communicate with your dog in a natural way that they understand and even how to utilise distractions to further improve your dog's obedience!

Basic obedience package includes:

Attention to name
Lead manners
'Climb' (stay on objects)
'Sit/stay'
Extended 'Down/stay' with distractions
'Come' with distractions
Go to 'Place' mat and stay
'Heel' on lead with distractions
Optional off-lead 'Heel' with distractions
'Leave it' - disengage from object, animal or person
'Out' - release object/toy from mouth
'Free' - release from all commands

This is a results orientated system (no commitment or deposit is required upfront) and lessons are booked on a basis to suit you. Prices start from £25 per hour. Puppy/new dog/rescue one-off consultations also available.

More than one dog? No problem, the same rates apply - although it might take you a few more weeks to complete (depending on how much practice you do!)
