Martin Healey Vehicle Adaptations was formed in 1992. The business was started by Martin Healey a short time after his wife was diagnosed with MS. He was inspired to start the business after experiencing the poor quality of adaptations available.
Since starting the business it has gone from strength to strength. We work throughout the whole of the North East and Cumbria, providing adaptation services as far afield as Penrith and Carlisle, and specialise in providing tailored adaptations to suit every need.
Not all suppliers and fitters think in the way that we do. We are proud to say we only fit fully crash tested Mobility Seats to your car and always ask for written confirmation that both the seat and plate have been fully crash tested. We are not driven by profit and for this reason we will never fit any adaptations that have not be vigorously safety tested and meet our high standards. Your safety is our primary concern.
