General information
In 2003 brothers Toby and Max Williams took over Stanhill Farm in Wilmington, Dartford, and with no previous farming background, have been increasing the size of the P.Y.O (Pick Your Own) every year. The main crop being strawberries, but they have also planted vegetables for customers to pick such as peas, runner beans and sweetcorn, as well as other fruits.
October 2009 saw the launch of the farm shop, which offers a wide range of produce with home grown fruit and vegetables and other local produce, including eggs, bread, cheese, pickles, jams and chutneys. The shop also sells a variety of Christmas trees in November/December which has proved to be very popular with customers.
Stanhill Farm, which is only 17 miles from the centre of London and still within the M25, is now open all year round for customers to visit the farm and buy fresh fruit and vegetables direct.
