General information
Roots is a community for all University students that is founded on love, hope, and faith. All students are invited to explore and experience life together with us.
The Roots House is open every weekday during term from 12:00pm - 4:00pm as a place to bring and eat your lunch, grab a free cup of tea or coffee, or just to use the WiFi.
Friday afternoons, we'll stay open from 2:00pm - 5:00pm to play board games!
Our biggest weekly event is Tuesday Nights, which will be at the Aroma Cafe this year (50 Potterrow, behind the Mosque). Starting at 7:00pm, we'll have free dinner, play a game together, and talk about something meaningful. It's a lot of fun and all University students are welcome to join.
We also offer a free soup lunch on Fridays from 12:00 - 2:00pm... with a bonus treat for first-timers!
You can also find us handing out free tea and coffee on Friday mornings during term from 8:30am - 10:30am at Potterrow Port. Come say hi and grab a cup on your way to lectures!
