General information
Professional Linen Services was founded in 1996 by Edinburgh restaurateur Alan Hogg. The company began life in Alan’s utility room at home, initially in order to service his two restaurants in the city. The vision was to provide a high quality product with an emphasis on customer service. This proved to be a winning combination as the business soon began to build a steady customer base in the restaurant and guest house sector and the decision was made in 1997 – no doubt much to the Hogg family’s relief – to move out of the utility room and into a small industrial unit in Leith.
