Firsthand Lothian aims to increase resiliency and improve well-being of disadvantaged and vulnerable families and those with a child/ren with a disability up to the age of 18. Delivered in the family home and local community we match workers and volunteers each family and work with them to help them achieve the change and outcomes they have identified. Sessions are usually weekly for 3 - 4hours.
In order to offer a wider range of services to meet the needs of children, young people and families who are vulnerable and / or disadvantaged we seek funding to enable us to carry out specific projects from Trust and Grant making bodies and generate income through fundraising activities and individual donations.
