St Paddy's Day 2012, a day I will never forget...for all the wrong reasons.
That day I lost my 'best friend', my 'Eddy'.

Angie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 41 in 2009. And kicked it's butt like the diva she was.
But in 2011 she was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer. It was aggressive and took this beauty from us far too soon.
From diagnoses in July 2011 to several months later she was gone.
Her bravery and fight will stay with me forever. And to that end, I wanted to do something to make sure this diva can carry on the fight for my friend, and help see if we can save lives along the way.

In loving memory of 'Big Ang', I have decided to give back and kick breast cancer's butt with the help of all of you boobie, beautiful, beauts....

I believe, we are on a mission along with our friends at Breast Cancer Now to bloody make sure this disease is eradicated and no more lives are taken away from us by the year 2050!!!

Just think of this -
Research holds the key to a world where everyone who develops breast cancer lives.......and if we all act now, this can and will be achieved and we will all live in that world....

That statement alone, that time-frame, really hit home to me.... that in my lifetime I could see and be part of the annihilation of this cancer.

'We've got a once in a lifetime opportunity to stop women dying from breast cancer'.
