Red Dog Music is Edinburgh's BIGGEST general music store, with over 5,000 square feet of musical equipment ranging from electric guitars to keyboards; studio recording gear to lighting and from percussion right through to PA equipment.

At Red Dog Music, you’ll find all the big brands (and a whole heap of smaller ones) in stock. Rock out in our private demo rooms, complete with mirrors for practising your embarrassing guitar stances and/or facials; get involved with our analogue synths, which are wired up and ready to squeal the house down; have a bash on an electronic drum-kit or - if you get bored – take a seat on the famous Red Dog Music Couch and soak in the atmosphere.

We're proud to say that, in October 2009 (16 months after we first opened our doors), we were voted "Best Independent Retailer" in the Music Industries Association's annual awards ceremony. Thank you to all of our customers for making that possible! We welcome one and all, from seven-year-old studio engineers to nonagenarian DJs.
