General information

We sell just about every hat you can think of! A mixture of traditional deigns and designs unique to Fabhatrix. For woman we sell hats for everyday wear made from warm wools, soft felts, formed felts, beautiful scottish tweeds, waxed cotton, velvets and some unique vintage fabrics. We have a wide range for men too including tricorns, bycorns, top hats, bowler hats, loden hats, homburgs, fedoras, trilbies, pork pies made from luxurious fur felt and wool felt in a multitude of colours. We stock flat caps made from harris tweeds, cashmere blend, scottish tweeds and leathers. Our top quality mens hats are available in a wide range of sizes from 55cm to 63cm. We also pride ourselves in wide range of occasion hats from over the top fascinators to smaller elegant pieces to traditional and unique sinamay hats ideal for weddings, graduations, the races and even meeting the Queen! Miliner Fawns Reid Bio:

Fawns first started making hats for Edinburgh Festival Fringe craft markets back in1983 and opened her wonderful treasure trove hat shop, Fabhatrix, in 2002. Her Fabhatrix label hats are individually hand made downstairs (now over 10,000!). She uniquely dyes the hand felted hats, vintage buttons, buckles and trimmings to go with many of the recycled fabrics. However her distinctive and contemporary style really comes to the fore in the pieces that are made personally for customers going to all kinds of occasions. She is regular participant in the prestigious "Dressed To Kilt" fashion shows during Tartan Week in New York, 2007 2009, 2010 and 2011.
