Sell your items with us...

At Handbag Heaven Exchange we do the work for you to sell your unwanted items and leave you with the fun part......earning yourself money!

Bring your pre-loved items in store. We will decide along with you how to price the items to put them up for sale. We base the prices on the original cost of the item, the condition and the desirability.

We will decide on a price that you are happy with and that we think will be achievable.

Once your item sells, the profits will be split 50/50 between yourself and Handbag Heaven. If any item exceeds £300, you will recieve 60% of the profit and we will only retain 40%.

If your item exceeds a selling price of £800 there will only be a "finder's fee" agreement. Meaning we will take a set fee instead of the percentage leaving you with the majority of the profit!

You will be paid by cheque on the production of your receipt. Alternatively, you can opt to take an item instore in exchange for your credit due.

We will keep your items selling at the agreed price for 6 months. If after these 6 months the item remains unsold, there are three options.....

1. The items will be reduced by Handbag Heaven to secure a sale.

2. you can remove your item from sale and take it home.

3. The third option is to donate the item to us so that we can sell it on behalf of Maggie's Cancer Care Centres who work with the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. These items are sold on a non-profit basis where all proceeds are given as a donation to Maggie's. These items are specifically tagged to show where the buying customer's money will go.

WHAT KIND OF ITEMS DO WE TAKE?

HANDBAGS
We cater for all budgets and tastes! We sell from High Designer, Indie designer, High Street or bespoke. We also have a dedicated vintage section with items that have dated way back to the 1920's. Anything from the 1990's can be classed as vintage now! We even take branded baby bags and "man bags"! We cannot take any replica handbags, handbags that are extremely soiled, damaged or missing pieces.

SHOES
All shoes brought in to be sold must be either new and unworn or gently worn once. They must be clean and in sellable condition. We take from sizes UK 3 (Euro 36) to UK 7.5 (Euro 40.5). They can either be boxed or unboxed. As alot of shoes are seasonal, we will only take appropriate styles for the time of year. Eg. Sandals in the Summer, fur lined boots in the Winter. We cannot take replica designer shoes.

APPARELL
We sell wallets and purses, scarves, gloves, belts, designer watches, designer sunglasses, leather filofaxes, leather travel document holders, leather passport holders, wedding hats, jewellery rolls, make-up bags, even designer doggy wear........the list is not exhaustive! Again because certain items are seasonal we will only take knitted hats, scarves and gloves in the lead up to and during Winter. We cannot take any replica designer accessories.

JEWELLERY
We sell beautiful diamond pieces, Platinum, traditional gold and silver pieces and costume jewellery. We takes necklaces, rings, bangles and bracelets, charms, brooches and earrings. (All earrings must be new and unworn.) We cannot take any replica designer pieces or items of jewellery that are broken, missing pieces or are tarnished.

ITEMS WE CANNOT TAKE...
We cannot sell branded replica items, any items that are damaged, extremely soiled or missing any pieces. We cannot take supermarket branded items.
We can only take bigger brand designer sunglasses and watches.

Selling terms and conditions......

Items brought into Handbag Heaven Exchange are for sale on behalf of you, the customer. A sale price was agreed by the customer and Handbag Heaven.

I, the customer, agree that 50% of this sale price will be retained by Handbag Heaven and 50% will come to me, the customer. (If sale price exceeds £300, Handbag Heaven will retain only 40% while the customer will receive 60%.)

I, the customer, agree that my items will be for sale at Handbag Heaven for 6 months at the agreed price. After 6 months, if the items have not been sold, Handbag Heaven will reduce the price, donate certain items under £10 or require you to collect the items. I, the customer, will allow items priced £10 or under to be donated to be sold on behalf of Maggie’s Cancer Centre or Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland where they will receive all money from each sale.

Handbag Heaven cannot be held responsible for any reasonable wear or tear an item might incur from being on display.

We ask you to please contact us to determine if any items have been sold. Handbag Heaven will not contact you to advise any sales of items.

Cheques can only be paid out when £30 or over is due. The exception to this is when your share of payment for all items is under £30. A £1 admin fee will be retained by Handbag Heaven to cover admin costs. You can opt to take an item in exchange for your payment amount due.
