General information

RFYC (Royal Findhorn Yacht Club) is located in a waterfront setting at Findhorn, on the coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland, on a site overlooking the sheltered inshore waters of Findhorn Bay.

RFYC is privileged to own a superb 250-year old building, with a fantastic view over Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth, an outstanding sailing area and an enviable heritage. With an 80-year history behind it the Club has much to be proud of, not least for the provision of racing, coaching and training for many. Many youngsters have been introduced to sailing and powerboating, giving them opportunity to develop their skills and to realise significant enjoyment. Additionally, the Club has provided an important social element in many people’s lives for many years, and now has several families in to their 4th generation.

With organised and supervised racing for dinghies, and a cruiser race capability, the Club promotes sailing and racing every weekend from Apr though to October. In addition, Skills Development Coaching by experienced race coaches and sailors is provided on a regular basis.
