Dava School House

General information

We bought Dava School House after five years of research and planning to find the ideal property to fulfil our dream of running a bed and breakfast.

The School House has undergone a sympathetic conversion project to achieve a comfortable environment which will balance as our home and provide an excellent experience for our guests and visitors; the School Room has been restored to provide an enchanting coffee lounge and relaxation area for guests .

Dava Moor, which is approximately seven miles from Grantown on Spey, is on the Dava Way, the highland tourist route between Inverness and Aberdeen and the malt whisky trail in Speyside.

The area offers a vast array of outdoor activities as well as opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment of local crafts; we have established partnerships with local businesses to offer experience packages for individuals, couples or events such as team building for small companies.

Our mission is to share our love of the Highlands and Scotland with our friends, family and future guests through providing a memorable experience, comfortable good quality accommodation and enjoyment of traditional local produce, beers and whiskies.
