Girling & Bowditch Veterinary Surgery,located in Beaminster was established in 1998. We moved to our purpose built premises in 2002, nestled in the West Dorset countryside. Matthew Bowditch & Terry Girling lead a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses & support staff offering friendly and high quality care including a 24 hour emergency service.
We are a Tier 2 RCVS Accredited Practice & Veterinary Nurse Training Centre who offer veterinary care to cats, dogs, exotics species including small furries, wildlife & birds. We also have a farm animal department treating everything from the large dairy or beef farm & sheep units to the specific requirements of the small holder.
With our fully equipped facilities we are able to offer a wide range of veterinary services such as dignostic imaging, in-house laboratory, nurse clinics, acupuncture & much more as well as rehabilitation services including physiotherapy & hydrotherapy in our purpose built rehabilitation centre located next to the main surgey which is run by our Chartered Veterinary Physiotherapist & Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Girling & Bowditch also have two branch surgeries for routine appointments located on Bull Lane in Maiden Newton & Old Mill Lane in Crewkerne.
