Strachans Jewellers Ltd is an independent family run business established in 1836.
We offer a wide range of stock; with a large selection of diamond jewellery (some of which are exclusive to us) and an impressive choice of gold and silver jewellery.
Brand names include Hot Diamonds, Trollbeads and Tianguis Jackson.
We also offer a wide range of watches including Rotary, Citizen, Accurist, Lorus and two new fashion ranges namely Bench and Obaku by Ingersoll.
Watch, clock and jewellery repairs are undertaken and also Insurance and Probate valuations.
No job is too small for this family-run business.
We also buy scrap gold & silver.

Mike has been in the jewellery business since leaving school many years ago, when he joined the family jewellery business in Edinburgh, and has a wealth of knowledge in the jewellery trade.
He then worked for a large multiple jeweller for many years living in Manchester, London, and Nottingham before going into business in 1980 with his wife Ruth in Nottingham.
In 1989 they sold the business in Nottingham in order to move back to Scotland to be nearer family and bought Strachans Jewellers in Forfar.
In the ensuing twenty years they have steadily built up a fine reputation for quality jewellery, a good friendly service and prices to suit all pockets
