General information

COA, led by Rachel Oborne, is an award winning architects’ office located in Portland, Dorset. Our projects include commercial, educational and residential work which varies in size from small interior remodelling to new individual residences.

We offer our clients imaginative and creative solutions tailored to meet their needs.

As a RIBA Chartered Architect, the services we offer our clients range from initial ideas and sketch designs to overseeing budget and building works through to completion. We are happy to provide you with all or any of these services.

help you determine your brief, interpret your ideas with exciting and maybe unexpected solutions and advise on potential problems and risks;

develop the design with you to create a home that meets your needs, maximises the potential of your property, is economic to build and run and is also a pleasure to be in;

secure the planning and Building Regulation approvals required;

coordinate and manage the construction process by helping you select a suitable builder, coordinating the work of other professionals, if required, and overseeing the building works to completion.
