In the days of the British Raj in India, the English custom of afternoon tea met with the Indian tradition of a light midday meal. This lunch ritual - a meeting of two worlds - came to be known as tiffin. It is this marriage of cultures that we seek to honour and celebrate at TiffinBox.

In modern India, tiffin meals are often delivered to busy workers in packed boxes - providing a welcome break from the day's activity, and giving a comforting sense of routine and ceremony. These tiffin boxes are filled with a variety of flavours, textures, and colours. At TiffinBox, we pay homage to this with our Thali platters - full course meals made up of small bowls called Katoris, designed to delight the senses with their diversity.
