General information

Screen South is a cultural development organisation with digital creativity at its heart. We work with partners across a range of digital and creative projects in arts, heritage and on screen. We focus on nurturing a diverse range of new talent with training and progression as well as generating new productions, showcases and exhibitions. We currently lead on a number of ground-breaking programmes including: Ignition Random Acts, a short film scheme open to 16-24yr olds in partnership with Channel 4 and the Arts Council England; Accentuate, promoting disabled-led cultural initiatives incorporating the national programme History of Place and D4D; Create Converge, an international partnership exploring new creative digital technology and KentWW1.com unearthing new perspectives on Kent’s local heritage. We deliver a number of community and educational digital film initiatives including British Film Institute Kent Academy, Up on the Downs Film Series and Shine Shoot Screen.
