General information

Blooms is a contemporary, modern restaurant with a theatre style kitchen serving quality Mediterranean / Modern British food. Here at blooms we have bought a taste of the Mediterranean right here to our corner of the Folkestone harbour area, all of our fish is landed along the south east coast & from day boats delivered daily to ensure the freshest quality & our meat is locally sourced from the surrounding area is prepared in our kitchen to our exact requirements, We pride ourselves on provenance, sustainability & locality.
As well as the restaurant we also have a bar area to relax in, whether you’re waiting for your table or simply popping in for a coffee or cocktail with a friend. Our front of house staff aim to deliver a fast, friendly and professional standard of service throughout your visit and our team of chefs will deliver delicious dishes.

Owner Phil Godden is local to Folkestone and grew up around the harbour area. He and his team have over 30 years of combined experience in the industry. the head chef, has a particular love for Mediterranean food and hopes to bring you classic dishes with a modern twist.

The menu comprises of appetisers ranging from marinated olives to seaside bites with starter courses such as Risotto Rice Balls. Blooms Scotch Egg. For main courses there will be choices such as Garlic & Chilli Chicken, Grilled Ribeye Steak, Traditional Fish & Chiips, Creamy Garlic Mussels & Greek Salad to name a few. We will also have a set lunch menu and evening daily specials as well as fresh home-made desserts for you to choose from.

The cocktails at Blooms bring together fresh ingredients and exotic flavours to create top quality drinks that will seduce all palettes. Freshly made to order, each cocktail is skilfully crafted by our team.

We will always aim to utilize the services of our local suppliers wherever possible, not only for our food but also for our drinks and even our uniforms and décor.
