The Medical Centre is one of the longest established in Doncaster; it was established in the late 1890s and it remains one of the delights for us, as doctors, to realise that we continue to be a genuinely “family” practice. Our highly trained nurse team now provides much of the care that traditionally would have been done by a doctor.
Doctors and staff at The Medical Centre aim to provide you with a high quality efficient confidential service that meets your needs. Our aim is to make your visits to us as friendly and effective as possible.
The Medical Centre is a Nurse led Practice supported by GP's and the majority of clinical problems are dealt with by a nurse this enables the GPs to see more complex clinical problems and give adequate time to these patients. We also provide a triage service where a nurse will call you and assess the best course of care for your symptoms and health problems. This allows you to be treated over the phone, in a nurse appointment or with a GP.
