Mentor Link is dedicated to supporting young people who may be facing difficulties. These may include family breakdown, relationships, bereavement, low self-esteem, poor behaviour/performance and school attendance. We support these young people by providing them with a volunteer mentor from the local community. The charity receives referrals from the local schools and our staff work within each school to organise referrals and on-going appointments. Mentor Link provides independent, non-authoritarian adults who befriend young people in an informal way. It provides young people with a regular, reliable and an independent adult role model who is there for them.
