General information

It all started because of a feeling of happiness. When we first laid eyes on our bags we could not contain our excitement. Each and every creation was a stunning blend of vibrant, bright and cheerful prints. We simply couldn’t resist the urge to smile… and we soon discovered our smiles were contagious…

In fact, the very reason we chose to share our bags with the world simply stemmed from a series of events that made us realize our bags genuinely evoked a feeling of happiness, not just from us, but also from the many people we crossed paths with on our adventures.

And that is how it all began…

We traversed the globe with a colorful array of Kate MacQueen bags to accompany us on our travels, and along the way we were approached by men, women and children, from all walks of life, who were left enchanted by our ‘happy’ bags. It didn’t dawn on us how truly special these bags were until it became normal for people to ask if they could photograph them!

When we eventually set about sharing these bright, bold, beautiful bags with the world, our underlying message was always to spread the gift of happiness too.

This is where our story becomes even more magical...

Thailand (also known as The Land of Smiles) has been our beloved home for more than twenty years. All of our bags are sourced in Thailand, where we work closely with Northern artisans to create unique and captivating canvas bags.

While we hoped to capture the magic of Thailand in all of our creations, we also set out with the intention to make a positive difference to our community. That is why we joined forces with a foundation that is very dear to our hearts: The Gift of Happiness.

The Gift of Happiness enriches the lives of children in need here in Thailand by offering the most basic of life's necessities; happiness. The foundation donates aid and essential supplies, and also hosts entertaining and educational comedy shows for vulnerable street children; orphaned/refugee children; and also children living in safe-houses and medical/crisis centers located all around Thailand.
