General information
The Community Workshop is based up on Moreton Hall Industrial Estate and is designed to offer work based experience to adults with disabilities and those furthest from the job market. Commercially we run a print shop. Printing everything from business stationery to parish magazines. On the therapeutic side we have a structured day. We put together packages of crafting materials. We upcycle waste from the local community and offer it for sale in our craft and resource shop at the front of the unit or online. We also work on seasonal projects. Currently we are constructing a Gypsy Caravan.
The service is open 5 days a week from 9am - 3pm.
The service charge is £33 + VAT per day. Everybody is welcome to come for a couple of taster days to see if it's what they would like to do, equally any parents, carers or friends can come along too.
The purpose of Community Workshop is encourage full inclusion in a working environment safe for everyone.
