The Film Place Company Information
General information
The Film Place is Buckingham's own local community cinema. Volunteers transform the lecture theatre at the University of Buckingham into a cinema which provides 160 seats.
We aim to give two film showings per week with a varied programme of films covering mainstream and specialised films such as foreign language films.
We occasionally organise special events such as shorts nights and talks before films by film directors or producers. We have already given about 260 film showings to over 12,500 people!
