Since Tamlyns was first established in 1878, we have been offering professional property services.

Right back through the company’s existence, Tamlyns has always had a strong link with the agricultural and rural community, and this is still very much a cornerstone of the department today.

The Chartered Surveyors, Valuers & Auctioneers department is based at our Bridgwater office and our team of highly experienced Surveyors, Land Agents, Valuers and Auctioneers continue to offer a wide range of related services - not just to the agricultural communities upon which the business was initially founded, but across all sectors.

Whether it is Property Survey or Professional Valuation work via our Survey and Valuation Team, Planning and Building-related work via our Drawing, Planning and Design department, Agricultural and Rural Services work via our Land Agents or the valuation and sale of antiques and collectables via our Auction Sale Rooms, Tamlyns Chartered Surveyors, Valuers & Auctioneers have the experience and knowledge to assist you.

Tamlyns has always had a strong Auction theme running through the work that our professional departments undertake. Holding monthly antiques and quarterly collectables sales from our auction rooms, regular outdoor dispersal sales and numerous land and property auctions every year, auctions are still a very prominent part of our business, over a century after Tamlyns was established.
