Civil Engineering Safety

General information

Civil Engineering Safety was established in 2002 by Managing Director Ben Edgley.

In 2002 we started the business with just one employee and Civil Engineering Safety steadily grew from servicing confined space safety equipment locally, to the sale, hiring and servicing of safety equipment nationwide.

In 2008 we opened a new division, providing confined space and first aid training courses. With this additional service the company continued to expand and this resulted in moving premises, leaving a shared industrial unit in Huntingdon, to a multi-functioning modern business unit at RAF Alconbury. Due to the success of the confined space training sector we moved again to Ramsey in Cambridgeshire to larger premises. This enabled Civil Engineering Safety to expand its training centre further.

In 2011 we acquired and fitted our mobile training vehicle for the utility of providing on-site training courses to businesses nationally.

In 2013 a second training centre was opened in Brentwood, Essex, bringing all of our services closer to London where customer demand was evident.

We are a forward thinking, dynamic business and continuously strive to move forward. We do this by listening to feedback from our customers and employees alike, and by knowing our positioning within the sectors we work.
