The award winning RIBA chartered practice operates from Henfield, West Sussex and Guildford, Surrey specialising in high quality design covering architecture and interior design. Current projects include recording and performance, business distribution, commercial, industrial, leisure facilities, restaurant, cafe, retail, residential, housing both individually and as mixed use schemes. Currently working on a variety of projects throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the USA.

In whatever field, function or building type, new build, refurbishment and renovation or Listed buildings WCEC Architecture provides a responsive, professional proactive service, clearly establishing the client's objectives and desires integrating ecologically sound and sustainable design.

Our design philosophy allows an intuitive and imaginative approach to design coupled with experience and analytical skills under the direct control of the principal and architect - Gavin Sargent; creating buildings that are sympathetic to their environment and which, in their design contain the grain and essence of their surroundings. Architecture that draws from it's setting, so that on completion it has a clear feeling of belonging, whilst performing its required function.

WCEC have gained a reputation for obtaining planning consent for sensitive sites and buildings including in Conservation areas, the countryside, Greenbelt and Listed buildings, creating contemporary solutions using both modern and traditional techniques and innovation.
