Stagecoach Performing Arts Hove

General information

A very warm welcome to Stagecoach Theatre Arts Hove where we provide quality part-time training in the performing arts for children aged 4-18 years. Our aim is to nurture and develop young potential through singing, acting and dance classes, stretching young imaginations and building confidence. Our school is friendly and inclusive and has an excellent teaching team who are fantastic at bringing out the best in each and every child.

We run classes on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings in Hove.

Our classes are held within Blatchington Mill School, Hove just along from the Greyhound Stadium. It is a large secondary school and sixth form college with specialist Performing Arts status. This offers our students fantastic facilities to use each week and we hire the adjacent 300 seater Windmill Theatre for our annual productions. The school can be accessed on Sundays by car via the entrance off Nevill Avenue only or on foot via the pedestrian entrance off Holmes Avenue. There is ample free parking on site and we have exclusive use of the school building on Sundays.

Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs)

Early Stages classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, where young people learn skills in each of the three Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama, so it is an easy step when it is time to transfer to the next stage.

(90 minutes each week)

A full term’s fees for Early Stages is £162 (Scottish fees may vary).

A two week trial for Early Stages costs £25.

Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs)

Main Stages classes are split in three age appropriate groups, where young people learn new skills in each of the complementary Musical Theatre disciplines of singing, dancing & drama. We nurture the shy and apprehensive, until they find their feet and voice, whilst at the same time developing and channelling those with bundles of talent, confidence and energy. We believe in the potential of every child!
(3 hrs each week)

A full term’s fees for Main Stages is £324 (Scottish fees may vary).

A two week trial for Main Stages costs £50.
