The Wingate Centre is as unique as our very special visitors. For over 25 years we have been offering children and young adults with physical and learning disabilities the chance to experience a holiday away from the limitations of home in a safe and accessible environment. The largest holiday centre of its' kind in the UK, we can accommodate up to 1400 children and young adults with special needs, and their carers, each year. Set in 3 acres of private, secure grounds in rural Cheshire, we provide holidays to special needs schools, primary schools, voluntary organisations, support groups and self-help groups.

We also have a 7000 sqft state of the art gymnasium with a competition-size sprung floor, in-floor trampoline, 2 standard trampolines, beam, rings and more. This allows us to offer fully supported sport and play activities to local groups and individuals alike. So whether you are interested in booking a 1 to 1 therapeutic gymnastics session or rebound therapy for someone you care for, or are interested in block-booking weekly sessions for your group, please do get in touch and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.

We can offer disability organisations, support groups, mainstream and SEN schools, day centres, care homes and more a range of activities, from one-off sessions in our gym to activity days to overnight residential stays with a range of activities included.

We also have a well-equipped sensory room and a large recreation hall (complete with its' own kitchenette) available to hire to groups or individuals as a one-off or as part of your group's tailor-made day or overnight visit.

We run a range of pre-school activity classes based in our gym for all abilities and we can also host your child's birthday party here. Just give us a call or see our website for further information.
