The story behind Made2Aid

The Idea of Made2Aid originated whilst working at my previous job as a Healthcare Product Consultant for a company that manufactures postural supports and assistive technology products. Having spent a considerable amount of time as a Product Consultant It became apparent to me the lack of resources to help you find products for clients, and how difficult it was to source products via standard search engines, for example Bing or Google. Whilst sourcing products for my previous employer, I was surprised at how limited the information was online, and how most searches gave me irrelevant information, with that being said I resorted to searching YouTube in order for me to find new products, and then had the problem of finding the supplier of the equipment.

So how do OT’s, Physio’s & SLT’s source new products with the only options being exhibitions, approved lists of suppliers & marketing literature? What if the product you’re looking for isn’t available through these resources, and is the product suitable for your client?
Made2Aid.co.uk is the first and only site that allows you to search products based on your region, product type, and it’s suitability towards your client. The search engine is multiple choice, and allows you to select your client’s exact presentation within their condition; this will eliminate any products that are not suited to your client’s needs. A list of suitable products will be displayed, and products with a profile page will include a full detailed description with images, videos, testimonials, feedback, specifications, features and case studies. If the product is of interest there is no need to contact the company, you are able to request an assessment or more information directly from us.
Made2Aid offers searches on up and coming events, available training, case studies, newsletters and even a forum where you can discuss any aspect of your role with like minded professionals within the UK!
