General information

Here at Toad Hall Day Nursery, our main concern is your child's well being. Every child is an individual and is encouraged to develop at their own pace in an environment designed to maximise their learning potential and develop independence.
We recognise different heritages and varying abilities amongst children in our care. We value the uniqueness of each child and provide learning experiences that are both meaningful and enjoyable.
We offer a wide range of sessions to suit your needs and we are open 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday, All Year Round (we only close on bank holidays).

Our purpose built nursery offers four large base rooms that are fully equipped and scaled to meet the needs of each age group. Each has it's own access to to our wonderful large garden which includes several areas for play, climbing, exploration, performances in our pavillion, vegetable and fruit planting area with its own greenhouse and potting shed (all scaled for the children's use).
We also offer additional activities such as dance, drama and various sports. There really is so much going on that your children are engaged all day long and its such FUN here!!!
Our full-time cook provides nutritious meals and caters for special dietary requests. Our menus are constantly being changed to avoid repetition and the children get to try out many exciting flavours and healthy foods.
