A warm 'Croeso' (the Welsh word for 'Welcome'), to the serenity of Cilwen Country House Bed and Breakfast.
If you are looking for a peaceful break in countryside surroundings, close to Carmarthen, with friendly hosts, then Cilwen offers you just that.
We are located just 10 minutes scenic drive from the historic market town of Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales. We are centrally situated to access the many beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, and all major tourist attractions in the area.
Room rates are £70-£80 per night for two people, including a fantastic breakfast (we offer a £10 discount for single occupancy), or we can add addittional beds into our rooms to cater for families (charged at £20 per bed).
We also offer evening meals by arrangement, featuring the vast array of wonderful local produce, and we have recently catered for a variety of special occasions including a 1920s weekend house party, a four course dinner party for thirteeen local Potters, and numerous Hen parties.
If your idea of an escape involves outdoor activity pursuits, then we can help facilitate with everything from Clay Pigeon shooting, horse riding, Coast steering, mud assault course,kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, woodland paintballing,Quad biking, White water rafting, Bubble-Zorb football, rock climbing.
