The Wrabness Community Shop and Café is situated adjacent to Wrabness Railway Station, on the corner of Black Boy Lane. The shop is open seven days a week with a wide range of fresh produce, groceries, takeaway sandwiches, homemade cakes, cards and a craft range.
The Shop is community owned, managed by a Management Board and run by a part-time manager and many volunteers. Wrabness Community Shop offers many volunteering opportunities - in the shop, the cafe and behind the scenes. Without shareholders and volunteers we wouldn’t have a fully functioning shop and licensed café. Shop and Cafe opened next to Wrabness station in September 2013.
The shop opening hours are: Monday to Friday, 9am - 1pm and 3pm - 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am -1pm (+ additional hours when the cafe is open)
The community shop provides so much more than just those last minute essentials. From daily newspapers and a range of magazines, to stationery, fresh produce, ice-cream, toiletries, cleaning products, pies, pizzas, etc.
The cafe is a bright and pretty meeting space, offering a range of hot beverages, soft and alcoholic drinks, plus freshly made sandwiches, salads, paninis and homemade cakes.
