For 'Good' rated childcare for 2-5 year olds, please look no further than Brinscall Pre-School Playgroup to solve your childcare dilemma. Brinscall Pre-School Playgroup opened in the early 70's. It operates from a large hall in Hillside Methodist Church, near Chorley, Lancashire; serving the local communities and surrounding areas.

The playgroup has six members of staff, including the Manager, Mrs Maureen Amos (B.A.Hons). All the staff are highly qualified and experienced.

The aim of the setting is to give children in our care the best possible start during their early years, providing a balance of activities and learning experiences, giving them a stimulating environment in which they can explore and develop individually in an enjoyable way.

We give opportunities for different experiences from visitors from outside the setting i.e. local services, parents with talents, or parents who just like to help with certain activities, and a visiting ballet teacher once a fortnight which all have an impact on the children's learning.

We follow the Early Years Curriculum and to enhance this we have visiting professionals alternately once a fortnight teaching 'Baby Ballet' and 'Spanish'.

We operate term time only and offer flexible hours to accommodate the Government grant for 3 and 4 year olds. There may also be 2 year olds who qualify for the grant too!

We have recently (23rd November 2015) been awarded 'Good' by Ofsted to which we are delighted.
