Malyn Promotions which incorporates SocialTennis.com was founded by Ralph Wylam and commenced operations in 1999 to provide help to small businesses to market their products.

With the advent of the internet and e-commerce Malyn Promotions set up SocialTennis.com to sell online a book 'Revolutionise Your Social Tennis Tournaments' aimed at Tennis Coaches, Teachers and Administrators to enable them to arrange properly structured tournaments, for players of different abilities, within minutes.

This proved successful and the next step was then to raise the profile of SocialTennis.com by offering FREE web pages to Tennis Coaches and low cost fully editable Websites to Tennis Clubs.
In March 2008 a major effort was made to develop SocialTennis.com and Steve Hey, Senior Development Manager of Image Creation was employed to improve the Website. This was done by creating a new fully editable 10 page Website or 'Online Notice Board' for Tennis Clubs at a fraction of the price of a bespoke Website.

Unfortunately Ralph passed away in September 2015 and Ralph's son and daughter in law have taken over the business. They have progressed the business and have since struck relationships with Acebook for online court booking systems and have most recently linked up with the Barcelona Tennis Academy and La Manga resort, selling holidays and courses all year round.
