General information

Glassbrooks solicitors is a small but highly professional team based in St. Annes on Sea, Lancashire with a client base across England & Wales.

Nick Glassbrook started the business in 1999 with the aim of being able to help take the stress out of any legal worries you may have.

Our team has many years of legal experience in litigation matters and can advise you on the best method of funding your claim whether it is through an existing legal expenses policy, private paying basis or conditional fee agreement, what you know better as a no win no fee agreement.
We deal with all matters of negligence including medical negligence and solicitor negligence, we also deal with insurance claims, conveyancing, property and building disputes and personal injury. We do not handle family matters or crime.
We know our areas of law extremely well. If you come to us with something we do not specialise in we will probably be able to point you in the direction of someone who can help you.

Our ethos is to provide a personal service in a professional manner. We expect you to be able to speak to whoever is handling your matter whenever you need to. We do not have secretaries to get past. We do not have a voice message system where no-one ever returns your calls. If you cannot get to us then we will come to you.

We work extremely hard to maintain the great reputation we have and if you instruct us you will see why we have so many satisfied clients who are happy to recommend us time and time again.

The Team

Nick Glassbrook

Nick has been a solicitor since 1998. Before qualifying in law, Nick was a pharmacist and therefore not only specialises in Civil Litigation but also in the unusual field of Pharmacy law. Since becoming a solicitor Nick has obtained a Masters degree in law (LLM), became Higher Rights of Audience qualified and sits as a Deputy District Judge. Nick enjoys sailing and crews with the local RNLI.

Chris Moore

Chris graduated with a 1st class honours degree in law and followed this up with a Distinction on his Legal Practice Course. Chris is a qualified solicitor and director of the firm. When Chris isn’t at the office you’ll find him on his mountain bike or at the Formula 1!

Liz Aspin

Liz is a licensed conveyancer, a specialist qualification confirming her expert knowledge in the area of property law. Before joining Glassbrooks in 2001, Liz’s background was in banking, predominantly dealing with securities. She is keen on netball and hockey and travels many miles each week with her daughters.

Martyn Abbott

Martyn is a litigation executive and deals mainly with personal injury matters. He has been at Glassbrooks since 2005 and before that spent most of his working life working for prosecuting authorities. Martyn’s interests are motorcycling and rugby.
