Welcome to Safehands Holidays, home of accessible short breaks for disabled people, their family, friends and carers.

Our mission statement is ‘’to transform the life opportunities of people with disabilities, improving outcomes, allowing equality and increasing involvement and inclusion in society that will empower them as individuals.’’

Safehands holiday portfolio started in 2011 with the purchase of the new Mayfair Hotel on Blackpool’s new south promenade. This hotel was later registered with the Care Quality Commission allowing us to provide a unique holiday experience with a specialist in house care team capable of offering a complete package of care, ranging from personal care through to social and leisure support. In February 2015 Safehands expanded its holiday portfolio with the opening of The Esplanade Hotel in Llandudno, North Wales. We encountered some difficult delays during the conversion, due to the enormity of the project, but we are pleased to say that the hotel is now fully operational. We have a well-structured team of staff in place and all that remains for us to finalise is the registration with the Care & Social Services Inspectorate Wales to allow us to provide personal care by our in house care team. We are hoping to complete the registration by November 2015.

Both our hotels occupy enviable positions with panoramic sea views of the great British coast line. Both hotels have undergone a complete renovation and refurbishment program costing over £7m, enabling us to provide guests with a choice of quality accessible accommodation you can rely on. Both of our venues offer a first class hotel experience where you can be assured your every need is catered for, in a fully accessible environment with caring and dedicated staff. Specialist equipment hire, fully accessible travel solutions, bespoke care packages are all available at affordable rates.

Safehands Holidays is part of the Safehands Group of Companies, which incorporate Safehands Care and Safehands Nursery’s, both of which have branches throughout the North West of England. Safehands has specialised in the delivery of all aspects of care for the past 19 years and is able to offer a range of unique care solutions to all our clients regardless of age or disability. Confidence and commitment from investors and managers throughout the company has seen Safehands grow into a substantial multi million pound care orientated business.
