J E James Cycles is a family run business who have been established for over 50 years.

We are one of the largest independent cycle retailers in Europe, with three large stores in the South Yorkshire/Derbyshire area of the UK. Our aim is to stock as wide a selection of cycling goods as possible. Whilst ensuring that each product line has been tested for quality, performance and value for money.

Our excellent reputation has been built on service and quality. We guarantee you will receive reliable advice from friendly staff with specialist knowledge of all types of cycling. J E James Cycles is also a member of the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT), which is an independent non-profit making organistaion, whose activities help ensure consumers can continue to benefit from the skills, services, enthusiasm and choice of products available from their local independent bike shop.

Just ten minutes off the Junction 34 of the M1, the Rotherham store is centrally located and very easy to get to. Stocks a wide range of bikes and ancillary equipment for all ages and levels or expertise. You won't just feel like a customer here, you'll feel like a friend.

Chesterfield

Stocks a massive selection of bikes from commuter bikes to state-of-the-art XC machines and everything else inbetween. Some of the more desirable bikes are displayed on a bike carousel - bike browsing without having to walk a single step. Cool.

Sheffield

Sheffield is home to the newly refurbished Sports Performance Centre which offers a bewildering collection of road/MTB bikes, clothing, accessories and essential shiny parts. Stocks the full range of Specialized accessories and is a Shimano accredited service centre - one of only a handful in the entire UK. Across the road is the BMX showroom, recreational MTB's and kiddies bikes. You'd be hard pushed to find a bigger or more varied collection of bikes and parts under one roof (well, almost one roof) anywhere. If we don't stock it here, it isn't worth having.
